House Committee Hears Testimony on Medicaid Reform Proposal
Last week, the state House Committee on Competitiveness held hearings on a proposal to significantly reform Michigan's Medicaid program and expand coverage to low-income individuals. The MHA submitted written testimony on House Bill 4714 and plans for staff members to speak at a hearing this week on how some provisions could seriously damage Michigan residents and healthcare infrastructure.
